内容記述 | This paper aims at groping out the valid framework of educational values in order to support content and method of peace education. In the contemporary world, the belief in value in general is on the decline through the collapse of the unitary and traditional system of value and the tremendous diversification of value. In this situation, value assumptions fall into some difficulties despite that value assumptions are the inescapable procedure to give all the educational behavior the valid direction. This paper presents the tentative framework of values in peace education: growth, human rights and harmony. Growth is the process which one's life expands to the outer world through the durable feeling of value. Human rights is the knowledge or the norm to understand the encounter with others or heterogeneous environments through the moral sentiment which finds him/herself in external objects or phenomenon. Harmony is an aesthetic sense which feels discordance in asymmetry conflicts such as racism, sexism, militarism, imperialism, ageism and centralism in the present world. The triad should have the dialectical relation which each of them can only be achieved if the other two are since without growth, human rights is illusory; without human rights, harmony is impossible; without harmony, growth is impartial. This idea is required to be reexamined based on further reflections on the normative nature of educational science. | |||||||||
