| 内容記述 | To test the possibility of prediction for sensitivity change on the flickering background with four kinds of temporal waveform from that yielded by the aperiodical luminance change with the same waveform as the flicker, masking curves were obtained for the aperiodical stimulus with rectangular, one cycle sine (-90°≦θ≧+270°), and rapid-off or rapid-on sawtooth waveform of 100 or 250 ms in duration. By the comparisonbetween the masking curve obtained here and those of the studies with flicker, we found that the sensitivity change on the flickering background with the middle frequency as 10 Hz is predictable from the single stimulus data. The prediction was, however, unsuccessful for the lower flicker, especially for the one with the slow phase. | |||||||||
